Hello again!!!
It's been a few days since my last post, so let me update you on what's been going on!
Yesterday morning I had a face to face interview, with a company that I had previously had a phone interview with!!! It went very well...I think?!? :-) I met with the corporate controller (which was who I had the phone interview with, previously), then immediately after that, I met with a team, including the HR manager, and THEN, I met with a guy, who's a little bit higher up in the company. It was a very long interview to say the least!!! They said the next step in the process, if they chose to go on with it, I would meet the CEO of the company. Well, guess what?!?! They called me today and asked if I could meet with the CEO tomorrow! And of course I said YES!!! I really don't want to get my hopes up too much...but this really does sound promising!
PLEASE pray!!! I really want this job, and I am praying that this is the job God has for me!!! It would be a great company to work for!
Also, yesterday, Christopher and I went to the seminary to get my shield card, which is basically a card I will need whenever I want to use the facilities on the campus. I can go to the gym for free, and use the pool, etc. Pretty awesome!!! So last night, we took a tour of the facilities, and we have decided to go to the gym a few times a week! I'm excited about that!
Oh, and guess what?!?! Christopher is not the only one that will be taking classes at the seminary now! I signed up today for SWI! "Seminary Wives Institute." The seminary offers classes to wives of seminary students, which I think is pretty cool. Thursday nights I will be taking a "Discipleship skills" class. A 12 week course. Each semester I will be taking a Thursday night class..and I will actually get a certificate at the end of it all!!! And on the plus side, I'm hoping this will give me an oppurtunity to make friends. They will be in the same boat I am. (Husbands going to Seminary) I'm pretty excited about all of it! :-)
Well, I will keep you updated on this whole job thing!
Oh, and feel free to leave comments if you'd like! :-)
You actually don't need an account, you can just comment anonymously, of course you could tell me who you are so I know you're keeping up with this journal! :-)
Until next time,
The very proud wife of a seminarian!
